Meet Sophie
Founder, Head Counsellor and Clinical Lead
Sophie is a NZAC registered counsellor and eating disorder recovery specialist, bringing both clinical expertise and lived experience to every client journey.
With qualifications spanning counselling, recovery coaching, nutrition, and personal training and more - all within an eating disorder recovery focus, Sophie understands recovery in practice, not just in theory.
She also contributes to counsellor training at Manukau Institute of Technology, where her recurring guest lecturing and resources are part of the Bachelor of Applied Counselling curriculum.
Her mission: To help you rediscover joy, balance, and a life beyond your eating disorder.
Our Approach
Eating disorders are complex, so recovery works best when it’s comprehensive.
Eating disorders rarely exist in isolation. Anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, obsessive patterns, addiction, and nervous system dysregulation and more often sit alongside them, and treating one without the other leads to fragmented care and stalled progress.
That's why we combine evidence based therapy, food and behaviour change support, body image and exercise rehabilitation, and trauma informed care - treating the whole person, not just the presenting behaviours.
Recovery isn't just changing behaviours. It's rebuilding a life that feels meaningful, regulated, and free.

Who We Help and How
Healing isn't one size fits all, but it does follow a rhythm.
Our five stage Transform Pathway helps guide your journey from survival mode to sustainable lifelong growth, with room for flexibility and your unique needs.

People In Any Stage Of Their Eating Disorder Recovery Journey
Whether you're just starting out or further along, recovery is challenging - but you don't have to do it alone.
In the early stages, it can feel like an endless uphill battle. Later, even as progress happens, the path can still feel uncertain.
We've been there too, and we made it through.
Our clinicians combine professional training and lived experience to support every stage of recovery, guiding you toward a life no longer defined by your eating disorder.
