Specialist Eating Disorder Recovery Support

"Working with Sophie and Daisy has honestly been life changing.
For the first time, I felt truly understood and supported - not judged.
Their guidance helped me slowly rebuild trust with my body and my eating habits.
I never thought recovery could feel possible, but now I’m finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel."
— Lily B., Client, Auckland

Meet Sophie
Founder, Head Counsellor and Clinical Lead
Sophie is an NZAC registered counsellor and eating disorder recovery specialist, bringing both clinical expertise and lived experience to every client journey.
With qualifications spanning counselling, eating disorder recovery coaching, nutrition, fitness training and more - all within an eating disorder recovery focus, Sophie understands recovery in practice, not just in theory.
She also contributes to counsellor training at Manukau Institute of Technology, where her recurring guest lecturing and resources are part of the Bachelor of Applied Counselling curriculum.
Her mission: To help you rediscover joy, balance, and a life beyond your eating disorder.
Our Approach
Eating disorders are complex, so treatment needs to be comprehensive.
Eating disorders rarely exist in isolation. Anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, obsessive patterns, addiction, and nervous system dysregulation often sit alongside them - treating one without the other leads to fragmented care and stalled progress.
Therapy & Counselling
Evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique recovery journey, addressing what sits beneath the surface.
Nutrition Support
Practical guidance to rebuild a balanced relationship with food.
Personalised meal plan sessions are available where helpful.
Body Image & Movement Support
Reconnecting with your body in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
Exercise plans and fitness sessions are available as part of your recovery where appropriate.
Trauma-Informed Care
A safe, non-judgmental space where your history is honoured, your pace is respected, and nothing is forced.
