Specialist Eating Disorder Recovery Support
Healing Is Possible
And You Don't Have to Do It Alone.
At Transformed Therapy New Zealand, we specialise in whole-process eating disorder recovery, supporting people through every stage of their journey - from feeling stuck, to stabilisation, to living a meaningful life fully recovered.
We integrate evidence based psychological therapy with practical support for rebuilding your relationship with food, your body, exercise, and identity - because recovery is not only about understanding your thoughts, it’s about rebuilding your life in practice.
Our counsellor and coaches bring both professional expertise and lived experience to their work, allowing us to offer care from a place of deep understanding, and that is grounded, and compassionate.
We work collaboratively with you and your support system to support sustainable healing and long term wellbeing.

Our Approach
Eating disorders are complex, so recovery works best when it’s comprehensive.
Eating disorders rarely exist in isolation. Anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, obsessive patterns, addiction, and nervous system dysregulation and more often sit alongside them. Treating one without the other leads to fragmented care and stalled progress.
That's why we don’t separate them.
Our integrated care combines evidence based therapy, food and behaviour change support, body image and exercise rehabilitation, trauma-informed care, and identity reconstruction.
Recovery isn’t just stopping behaviours. It’s rebuilding a life that feels meaningful, regulated, and free - and we walk with you at every stage.

Who We Help and How
We meet you where you are, because recovery looks different for everyone.
That’s why we offer individual therapy, self-paced programs, and practical resources to help you build strength, hope, and a new future.
The Transform Pathway
Healing isn’t one size fits all, but it does follow a rhythm.
Our 5-stage Transform Pathway helps guide your journey from survival mode to sustainable life long growth, with room for flexibility and your unique needs.

People In Any Stage Of Their Eating Disorder Recovery Journey
Whether you’re just starting out or further along, recovery is challenging - but you don’t have to do it alone.
In the early stages, it can feel uphill battle that is endless, later, even as progress happens, the path can still feel uncertain.
Eating disorders rarely occur by themselves. Anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, substance use, and other mental health challenges often weave into the recovery journey - and we support you in addressing these as part of your healing.
We’ve been there too - and made it through.
Our clinicians combine professional training and lived experience to support every stage of recovery, guiding you toward a life no longer defined by your eating disorder.
