Counselling Services
"Working with Sophie has been one of the best decisions I've made for my mental health.
She created a space where I could be honest about things I'd never spoken about before.
The sessions were insightful and practical, helping me understand myself better and I always came strategies I could use between appointments.
I now feel calmer, more self aware, and hopeful about the future."
— Emily J., Client, Auckland

Meet Sophie
Founder, Head Counsellor and Clinical Lead
Sophie is an NZAC registered counsellor with a warm, down to earth approach to supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments.
While her background specialisation is in eating disorders, eating disorder treatment includes treating the underlying issue(s) behind it. Because of this, she works daily with clients treating trauma, addiction, grief, depression, anxiety and more. Sophie tailors her approach to each person rather than applying a one size fits all method.
Her qualifications span counselling, nutrition, fitness, and recovery coaching, giving her a broad and holistic lens through which to support your wellbeing.
Sophie also contributes to counsellor training at Manukau Institute of Technology, where her guest lecturing and resources are part of the Bachelor of Applied Counselling curriculum.
Her belief: that with the right support, it's possible to move beyond surviving - and back into a life that feels like your own.

Our Approach
No two people are the same - and neither is the way we work with them.
At the heart of everything we do is a person centred approach, which means you are always the expert on your own life. We follow your lead, work at your pace, and draw from a range of therapeutic tools and modalities to find what works best for you.
Sessions are collaborative and flexible - sometimes structured and goal-focused, sometimes slower and more exploratory. Whatever you need, we adapt.
Our goal is simple: to create a space where you feel genuinely safe, seen, and supported - so the real work can happen.
